This is one of my favorite butters for a steak. It is simple and flavorful. The best was to use it is after grilling your steak. Season and grill your steak, then as soon as it comes off of the grill put a nice dollop of butter on it. As your steak rests the butter will melt and make a great sauce.

Ingredients Needed:

    4 oz of salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of minced shallot
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped chives.
  • a pinch of fresh ground pepper melange
Allow the butter to soften. In a bowl thoroughly mix all ingredients and set aside to use on steak.
